Hey there — I’m Meggie!
Pickleberry was born out of one of those simple, everyday moments of motherhood.

When my son was about 5 months old, we were at the zoo and I stumbled on a hat that actually fit his tiny head (if you’ve ever tried to find baby hats, you know that’s a rare find!). A few months later, I was sitting on our front porch, watching him play, and my mind wandered back to a shirt I had as a kid — it was interactive, colorful, and just plain fun.

That’s when the idea hit me: what if kids could have a hat they could change up themselves — a way to let their personalities shine without needing a whole closet full of accessories?

From that little spark, Pickleberry grew into a line of high-quality hats with collectible, swappable patches — all designed with my 16 years of experience in clothing and product design. Every detail matters: from the durable fabrics, to the hook-and-loop back that’s gentle on hair (no snagging, pulling, or tears), to the fact that they’re machine washable (just remove the patch first). These hats are as comfortable and functional as they are fun.
